Jan 14, 2014 · I replaced the Phillips with a m4 hex bolt. Hex bolts can be torqued up higher and the blade stays put. I used this product to cut perspex (total cuts of 3 meters), wood & m5 bolts and managed to cut through without the bladeing loose at all. Irwin need to replace the screws with hex bolts.

Jan 07, 2010 · Janaka New Member. You need to use a very fine blade. I'd rmend a hand saw, not electric. Take it slow, keep the blade as flat to the material as you can (not at a steep angle). Make sure the perspex is well supported all along it's length and firmly secured. Janaka, Jan 7, 2010.

Oct 25, 2019 · Hello chaps I am changing 2 22mm stopcocks in a chamber in the ground on a farm. I have removed the nuts on the first but can't shift the olives - there's no room to get an adjustable spanner on the inside of them and due to the angle and water (stopcock upstream is off but it's impossible to get all the water out of the chamber and it keeps seeping in) it's not practical to jr hacksaw through.
