If you’ve read this far, you probably feel like I owe you a solid rmendation. I’m going to let you down. I’m delighted with all three saws and wouldn’t sell a single one. May 07, 2010 · Mike Wenzloff Saw Kit. A while back I ordered a saw kit from Mike Wenzloff. After some helpful emails he helped me decide what exactly I wanted. I ordered a 16" tenon saw kit, with about 11 TPI (I can't remember the exact toothing), uding shipping, sharpening, and saw nuts, was $75, which is an amazing bargain.

May 16, 2007 · The saws are hand-sharpened and track a line quite well. The c the rip saw had 11 ppi. If you need something different, just ask. Wenzloff makes this saw in a variety of lengths and with 9 to 15 ppi. There also are a variety of wood species you can choose for the handle.

Mar 18, 2009 · Brice, Ditto Joe & Jim. I'm currently giving the Wenzloff tenon saws a workout on a lot of M&Ts is oak. Handwork is still relatively new to me but I can tell you that the Wenzloff saw qualities mean I can concentrate on getting the technique right without having to battle with a saw that wanders, skips, cuts a raggy kerf, makes my hand ache, etc..

Mike was at the forefront of custom handsaw renewal, and his saws have the reputation for being at the very top of the ladder. All those sawyers who followed, who are making saws today, owe this field to Mike and his sons.
